Terms of Service

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) set out the conditions for using GK Save Analytics (the “Service”). Anyone who uses the Service (a “User”) shall do so having agreed to these Terms.

Article 2 (The Service)

The Service is a data-analysis service that allows handball goalkeepers and others to enter match data and review analysis results such as save rate, block rate, and tendencies by position.

The analysis results, comments, and other information shown by the Service are reference information based on the data entered by the User, and do not guarantee any particular competitive result, improvement in ability, or other outcome.

Article 3 (Account)

A User shall create an account using an email address available to them or by another method designated by the Service.

A User is responsible for appropriately managing their own account and for preventing unauthorized use by third parties.

Article 4 (Pricing Plans)

The Service offers the Free, Individual, Coach, and Analytics plans and any other pricing plans shown within the Service. The price, available features, and conditions of each plan are as shown on the Plans & Pricing page.

Paid plans are recurring monthly subscriptions. Unless the User cancels, they renew automatically at the end of each billing period.

Article 5 (Payment)

Payment for paid plans is processed using Stripe. Users shall also comply with the terms of use and other rules established by Stripe.

The Service does not, as a general rule, directly retain the credit card number or other details required for payment.

Article 6 (Cancellation)

A paid plan can be cancelled by going from “Manage payment and subscription” within the Service to the Stripe customer portal and completing the cancellation procedure.

Even after cancellation, the User can, as a general rule, continue to use the plan they are subscribed to until the end of the current billing period. No usage fee is charged on or after the next renewal date.

Except where a refund is required by law, we do not, as a general rule, provide pro-rated refunds where a User cancels partway through a usage period.

Article 7 (Data After Plan Changes)

If a User changes to the Free plan or another plan with limits on the number of matches, etc., past data exceeding the plan’s limit is not deleted and may be temporarily hidden within the Service.

By changing to a higher plan, the User may be able to view the relevant data again.

Article 8 (User-Submitted Data)

A User shall confirm that they have the necessary rights and authority regarding the match information, figures, notes, URLs, and other information they enter into the Service.

The Service may handle information entered by Users within the scope of providing the Service, improving features, investigating defects, performing statistical analysis, and the other purposes set out in the Privacy Policy.

Article 9 (Prohibited Conduct)

In using the Service, a User must not engage in acts that violate laws or public order and morals, unauthorized access, acts that interfere with the operation of the Service, acts that infringe the rights of third parties, acts of impersonating others, or other acts that the operator deems inappropriate.

Article 10 (Intellectual Property Rights)

Intellectual property rights relating to the programs, design, text, logos, analysis methods, and other content of the Service belong to the operator or the rightful rights holders.

Rights relating to the data that a User themselves enters into the Service belong to the User, except as otherwise provided in these Terms.

Article 11 (Changes to and Suspension of the Service)

The operator may change, suspend, or terminate all or part of the Service where necessary for maintenance, incident response, feature improvement, legal compliance, or other reasons.

Article 12 (Disclaimer)

The operator does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, continuity, or fitness for a particular purpose of the Service.

Practice, coaching, player selection, and other decisions made using the analysis results of the Service are made at the User’s own responsibility.

Except in cases of the operator’s intent or gross negligence, or other cases where exemption from liability is not permitted by law, the operator limits its liability, to the extent permitted by law, for damages incurred by a User in connection with the use of the Service.

Article 13 (Changes to These Terms)

The operator may change these Terms in accordance with the law where there are changes to laws, changes to the content of the Service, or other necessity. When making a material change, we will give notice by posting within the Service or by another appropriate method.

Article 14 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. In the event of a dispute regarding the Service, the Japanese court having jurisdiction over the operator’s location shall be the court of exclusive agreed jurisdiction for the first instance, except where otherwise provided by law.
